Teraflex
Teraflex is a premier supplier of aftermarket Jeep parts. They specialize in upgrades and accessories for offroad “Jeeping.” Their old website was outdated and they were looking to upgrade their shopping and community experiences.
The Teraflex team had some very specific concerns with their current website. The site is slow to load due to the number of large raster images (mainly background textures and hero images). The shopping experience is somewhat muddled and the navigation is not intuitive. The website contains white text on a black background, which strains the eyes.
The new Teraflex homepage not only utilizes the desired lighter background, but organizes content to maximize accessibility and reflect the company’s community-based values.
The community content consists mostly of galleries and trail stories. I wanted to display this content in a way that would encourage greater interaction within the community. The shopping experience is altogether very new. With a more streamlined organization system, users can now find exactly what they’re looking for without getting lost in submenus.
